Martin Clarke is a seasoned professional with over thirty years of experience in private equity, having worked with prestigious firms like Cinven, Silverfleet Capital, and Permira. Notably, he was part of the buy-in team that orchestrated the MBI and simultaneous IPO of the AA in a £4.5 billion transaction in June 2014, where he later assumed the role of CFO until his resignation in 2019.

Outside his corporate endeavors, Martin Clarke is actively involved in charitable work, serving in various capacities such as former chairman of the Development Committee, Trustee, and Director of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Trustee of the Holburne Museum, and Patron and Trustee of the Martin Clarke Young Organ Scholar program. Additionally, he contributes to educational initiatives as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Business School at St Mary's University in London and as a member of the Society of St Radegund at Jesus College, Cambridge.
