A great video is of critical importance for any speaker's success. My colleague, Bryce Moloney, describes a speaker's reel as their "business card and audition tape rolled into one"... I couldn't agree more.
We're often asked what makes a great reel. My belief is that in just a few minutes, it should tell a story about who the speaker is, what they do, and how they do it.
For me, it's not about the "sizzle". It should provide clips that don't oversell the speaker, and it should provide an accurate depiction of what a client hiring them can expect.
Chris Bailey's new reel does exactly that. In just 2 minutes, it captures his personality, shares a few snippets of his content (both in-person and virtual), and provides his experience and credentials.
