Martin kickstarted his journey in the early 2000s, contributing to the UN and the International Crisis Group in Rwanda, an experience that laid the foundation for his dedication to promoting transparency and fighting corruption. Educated at the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics, Martin Tisne continues to be a driving force in advancing openness and accountability on a global scale.

Do you love working internationally, across different jurisdictions, with grantees and with lots of complex puzzles to solve? Join us as the inaugural Director of Operations. The AI Collaborative is a new initiative of The Omidyar Group. It was created to help regulate artificial intelligence based on democratic values and principles and ensure the public has a voice in AI regulation. The Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of grantmaking, investing and program operations as well as the overall functioning of the organization, including budgeting and the development of internal procedures and practices. You will work very closely with me to develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency and are built to best achieve the AI Collaborative’s strategy. The role can be based in New York, DC, Brussels or London. Successful candidates must be based in the identified locations and have a right to work in their country of residence.
