The Purple Collective launched almost three weeks ago now, and the momentum is building! 🚀

With over 100 members already, Philip and I have been combining forces—he's built the tech and ensuring day to day progress, while I’ve brought in campaign partners and share the news on my socials.

Together, we're harnessing the collective voice where vital services don't engage with disabled people. This is in synergy with the work we do at Purple Goat with progressive and forward thinking brands who want to embrace disability inclusion.

So far, the Collective has led two impactful actions—one with Social Care Futures and another on train travel, addressing the challenges many wheelchair users, like Tanni Grey-Thompson, face on UK railways.

We’re now building on the buzz from the Paralympics, which has inspired the world with stories of inclusion. But it’s not just about big events—it's about ensuring that accessibility happens in everyday life too.

This is a marathon, not a sprint, and we need your ideas and engagement to make lasting change. Help us drive disability inclusion forward by signing up and taking action—quick, impactful tasks that make a difference.

It's always very cool celebrating my birthday one day after my beautiful wife. After a brilliant weekend with the golden fluff ball Sunny in Norfolk we've received so many presents, cards and well wishes.

Here's to another year around the sun!

So much in store work and projects wise 💜

And what an alt text from chat GPT of the image!

A man in a motorized wheelchair, a woman, and a golden retriever dog are enjoying a peaceful walk through a lush, green forest. The path is covered with pine needles and leaves, and tall trees surround them, creating a serene, natural setting. The man is smiling, the woman is leaning slightly towards him with a joyful expression, and the dog is panting happily beside them. The atmosphere is calm and filled with the beauty of nature.
