Mary Ackley is an accomplished professional with a strong background in environmental engineering, natural resources management, and international development.

She pursued her academic interests by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management from the University of Vermont.

Mary has held various significant positions throughout her career. She founded and currently serves as the CEO of Little Wild Things Farm, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to sustainable practices.

Prior to her role at Little Wild Things Farm, Mary worked as a Foreign Service Officer at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), where she contributed her expertise as a Natural Resources & Conflict Specialist and Environmental Team Lead in locations like Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Before her diplomatic assignments, Mary gained valuable experience as an Energy Engineer & Consultant at DNV GL - Energy, previously known as DNV KEMA Energy & Sustainability. This role allowed her to engage in energy management and sustainability initiatives.

Furthermore, Mary dedicated her skills as a Natural Resources Management Specialist in the Peace Corps, delving into community-based conservation efforts and resource management strategies.

Her professional journey also includes serving as an Environmental Engineer at Conestoga-Rovers & Associates, where she applied her engineering knowledge to environmental projects.

Mary Ackley's diverse background in environmental engineering, natural resources management, and international development showcases her versatility and expertise in driving sustainable solutions and fostering environmental stewardship.
