Mary Richardson

Professor of Educational Assessment at UCL Institute of Education

Mary Richardson is a Professor of Educational Assessment at the UCL Institute of Education (IOE), where she leads the MA in Educational Assessment program and supervises doctoral candidates. Her research focuses on educational assessment, particularly the ethical and philosophical aspects of testing, as well as citizenship and rights-based education. She has over 20 years of experience in this field and has contributed to projects like TIMSS2019 for England and a textbook development initiative for Kazakhstan's education system.123
