🌟 UR Recruiters: Access Insight You Won’t Find Elsewhere! 🌟

When I read last week that “nearly two-thirds of employers who responded to the NACE 2024 Internship & Co-op survey say on-campus recruiting is effective for recruiting interns, particularly at career fairs, while less than 20% of those who responded said the same about virtual efforts”, it inspired me to curate a comprehensive data deck that explains how and why we got here – because I suspect that finding may have come as a surprise for many employers.

My objective in creating ‘The Evolution of University Recruiting Post-COVID: Telling the Story with Student Data’ is not to take a trip down Memory Lane, but rather to offset the current advice that recommends reliance on virtual platforms and tools to attract and engage candidates.

‘The Story’ provides:

➡ environmental scans since 2020 to set the framework and to provide context for the evolution of UR, presented in four data 'chapters';

➡ a recounting of the conventional wisdom that was presented with along the way that influenced UR decision-makers; and

➡ loads of unfiltered SRG student research findings specific to in-person recruiting that counter these popular narratives about 'what Gen Z wants', and explains why so many employers have encountered the challenges of this past year in engaging and hiring students.

😎 If you’re heading to NACE24, I’ll see you there!

In the meantime, I’m happy to forward details about 'The Evolution of University Recruiting Post-COVID' to those with an interest in hearing the story from the students' perspective - Just DM me, or shoot me an email.
