Highlights
I put this listing in the contract on Friday. I represented the buyer. I first met this buyer three years prior at an under-construction waterfront I was marketing. After exploring price points, oceanfronts, and towns three years later, we zeroed in on 67 Cross Highway in East Hampton.
Three years of follow-ups, countless conversations, and appointments showing property, presenting many off-market and private-market deals, a two-week deal with valleys and peaks, and an almost last-minute collapse.
It feels good to type this that this luxury 10M plus deal got done.
But it also feels good to mention that my superpower as a broker and a core principle of BAT is grit and resilience. It’s the power to stay in the fight. Keep positive. Keep bouncing back. Keep following up until you get it across the finish line.
I tell my daughters it’s okay to fall, fail, or not get something right. We get back up and keep at it.
As Alfred told the original Batman Bruce Wayne after he fell in a well as a kid,
“Why do we fall, sir?
So we can learn to pick ourselves up?”
I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday. Grateful for this one. God is good.
Thank you @schiaffino_team - great collaborative effort to get this @compass to @compass deal done.
Last asking price $18,000,000

Sunday Thought…
I am geniunely curious how the election season is going go effect financial and real estate markets, most specifically the Hamptons real estate market.
It seems the last two weeks have positively effected the Hamptons market and stock market, but obviously a lot of other factors in play as well.
One thing I have noticed in almost 20 years selling real estate in the Hamptons is that the real estate markets, specifically the Hamptons is and are effected by emotion more then one would think.
