Kristine Smagris is #hiring. Know anyone who might be interested?
I am very fortunate to work with incredibly talented women at #Haleon, including my US colleagues and our global HR teams.
And I am deeply proud of the progress that we have been making at #Haleon to create an organization and a culture that is more inclusive and is approaching gender parity. We hope to see a day soon where leader representation, career opportunities and compensation look identical across gender identities (as well as races, ethnicities and sexual orientations). This will continue to be a focus of my work.
But today, I also want to highlight my wife, Jennifer Culhane. Several years ago, she had a leadership role at a magazine, managing their marketing and circulation department (managing newsstands and home mailings). Knowing she was in a shrinking career and industry, she completely took a downward step and focused her development towards digital marketing, digital analytics and e-commerce, all while we were dealing with very young twins. She reached several obstacles throughout, including a career pause as we moved to Switzerland for my role, an experience that was a tremendous experience for our family, but disruptive for her career. She is now a leader in digital analytics at UBS. More importantly, she is a role model to our children about career ownership, resiliency and continuous learning and development. Well done Jen!
Happy International Women's Day!
