Where will your business and brand be in 2027?
I’ve had an awesome day today in Leeds 🇬🇧- consulting with a visionary leadership team from one of the biggest construction companies in the UK who are absolutely killing it in terms of growth and moving the dial on key areas.
We were meeting 6months on to access progress against our strategy, celebrate key achievements 🏆, course correct where needed and define what to focus on for H2 of 2024.
To help with this we ran a session looking at where they wanted to be in 2027. This helped assess what minor adjustments and focus areas might need to be adapted for H2 of this year.
Amazing progress has been made over the last year or so and it bears testimony to the idea that you only realise where you’ve been when you look back. The day also highlighted the concept that what you focus on is so important. Making decisions on what priorities are and working out the things to track to ensure you are measuring what matters is key. Having a vision of success is a key leadership quality (as Stephen R Covey says “start with the end in mind”). Leadership is all about vision.
The day was filled with brilliant presentations, collaborative high energy workshops, positive challenging and visionary thinking.
Next steps are for key action owners to refine and communicate their OKrs (objective and key results) to their teams for H2. This is not a new plan just a slightly adjusted plan with things which were priorities 6 months ago being course corrected and adjusted in order to meet the main strategic goals.
It’s been such a privilege to facilitate and witness the growth of this team and their business. I’m looking forward to the next session in Dec already to see the progress they will no doubt continue to make.
So - the question for you is: how are you course correcting into H2 and do you have a vision for 2027 that connects with this?
Let’s go!
