Matt Jardin

Matt Jardin is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with over 20 years of expertise in aerospace simulation, rocket engine simulation and control, guidance, navigation, and control systems, and air traffic control automation research.

His professional background includes roles as a consultant, project manager, and team lead, specializing in aerospace systems simulation, analysis, and design. He is renowned for his work in the large-scale adoption of Model Based Design for various technical applications.

Notable skills include proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder, C programming, and Dynamic Optimization. He is well-versed in Launch Vehicle and Crew Capsule Simulation, UAV and Piloted Aircraft System Modeling and Simulation, Guidance, Navigation, and Control.

Matt holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, as well as an M.S. and B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington. Currently, he serves as the Director of AERS Engineering & Systems at BLUE ORIGIN, a prominent aerospace organization.
