Matt Jordan is a highly experienced performance consultant with a remarkable track record of six Olympic Cycles working with elite athletes and sport organizations.

He holds a Master of Science in Exercise and Neuromuscular Physiology, and a PhD in Medical Science from the University of Calgary. His expertise lies in the intersection of sport science and sport medicine, focusing on human performance enhancement such as training program design, neuromuscular adaptations, athlete monitoring, knee injury prevention, and more.

Throughout his career, Matt has advised over 30 Olympic and World Championship medalists as well as high-performance organizations in sports leagues like the NHL, NBA, NFL, and the military.

Currently, he serves as the Director of Sport Science at the Canadian Sport Institute Calgary (CSIC), leading a team of practitioners, overseeing a research program, and coordinating multi-disciplinary efforts to enhance athlete performance.

Matt Jordan is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Calgary and Edith Cowan University, where he imparts his knowledge on injury prevention, athlete monitoring, training program design, and strength/power testing through international conferences and science-based education courses on his website.
