Matt Meltzer

Helping college students gain international startup experience. Developing global training for a global workforce.

Matt Meltzer is a seasoned professional with a diverse background. After embarking on a backpacking journey through South America post-graduation in 2003, he found his way to Buenos Aires and kick-started his career by working as an unpaid intern at a local newspaper and teaching English to pay his bills. This early experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

Meltzer's international exposure helped him secure a spot at Northwestern Law School, where he honed his skills and established a niche in litigation, particularly catering to Spanish-speaking clients. His success at Kirkland & Ellis LLP reflects the value of his unique professional journey.

Recognizing the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry, Meltzer founded the Experience Lab program, first at UC Berkeley and later at UPenn. This initiative aimed to equip college students with the necessary tools and practical experience to thrive in their careers.

As the Founder & CEO of Sage Corps, Meltzer expanded the program to 12 countries on five continents, fostering connections between top students and global startups. Through his various roles and engagements, Meltzer has demonstrated a commitment to empowering young talent and facilitating meaningful collaborations in the professional world.

With a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Pennsylvania, Meltzer leverages his academic achievements and hands-on experience to drive impact and innovation in the spheres of law, education, and entrepreneurship.
