But the vast majority of all players, indeed people, are in that middle ground. I've found great coaches and mentors find a way to see everyone, to give specific feedback and encouragement to ALL players...which at the end of the day is what most of us want. "I believe in you. Keep up the good work.", life changing words for many...I hope you, and your kids, get to have coaches a few times in their lives who say these very words to them. And if you are a coach, I hope you find opportunities to say these words, or some variation of them, to your players often.
