Highlights
Various measurement companies have in the past speculated that portions of CTV impressions are not delivered when TV sets are not on, or when the input is changed away from the streaming device app. We not only needed to quantify the problem but engage with our industry partners across a complex landscape and find a solution that accurately safeguards the investments we make on behalf of clients. I am proud of the work we have done in partnership with iSpot.tv to quantify the impact of the miscommunication between streaming devices and the TV. As we look forward, it’s important to remember that no one party can fix this problem alone. We all need to collaborate to standardize and solve the problems we face. We are excited to work with industry leaders like the IAB , Disney Advertising, Fox Corporation/Tubi, LG Ads Solutions, NBCUniversal, Paramount Advertising, Warner Bros. Discovery and VIZIO Ads who are committed to solving this issue.
