Matt Wielbut is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Openly, a premium homeowners insurance company founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 2017.13 Prior to founding Openly, Matt had a diverse career in technology and entrepreneurship:

  1. He co-founded Elements Insurance, a fast-growing property & casualty insurance agency in Massachusetts, which he sold in 2020.1

  2. Matt spent eight years at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in Engineering, working on projects spanning operations, sales, and marketing.1

  3. He has been involved in various entrepreneurial projects, including a graph-based concept search for local businesses and a platform for delivering educational videos to students.1

Matt's educational background includes graduating summa cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Engineering with a degree in Computer Science Engineering.
