🌟🎬🏆 Exciting News Alert! 🏆🎬🌟
I am absolutely thrilled to congratulate my dear friend and very first client, Ben Proudfoot, on his outstanding achievement: winning the Oscar for Best Documentary Short for "The Last Repair Shop"! Ben's talent and dedication have propelled him to join the ranks of legends like Walt Disney and Robin Lehman as the only individuals to clinch this prestigious award twice within a 3-year span!
Reflecting on our journey, it's hard not to laugh at the serendipity of our meeting during my early days as an assistant at WME. Back then, neither of us had a clue about where our paths would lead. Yet here we are, almost a dozen years later, witnessing the incredible manifestation of our dreams.
Ben's selflessness, his meticulous approach to his craft, and the profound impact of his films on our communities fill me with immense pride. "The Last Repair Shop" brilliantly illuminates the dedication of craftspeople who have maintained over 80,000 L.A.U.S.D. student instruments since 1959, ensuring that music remains accessible to all. As one of the last bastions of free instrument provision in America, Los Angeles exemplifies the importance of music education in schools. Let's use this film to spark awareness and action across the nation and the globe to ensure every child has access to the transformative power of music education!
A huge congratulations to the entire team at Breakwater Studios Ltd. for yet another remarkable accomplishment. Your tireless dedication and creative brilliance continue to inspire us all. Here's to many more successes ahead! 🥂🎉 #OscarWinner #TheLastRepairShop #BreakwaterStudios #MusicEducation United Talent Agency
