Highlights
Hello LinkedIn network! My company is looking to fill a role that is at the intersection of battery energy storage systems and data science. In this role you will help onboard US BESS customers to our battery analytics platform and coach them on how to improve the reliability and safety of their battery assets (and you also get to work with me!) The role can be 100% remote.
I must say that it is a great time to join TWAICE. We have recently expanded into the US market and you would be getting in on the ground floor as we grow the US team. Please reach out if you are interested!
Hello LinkedIn Friends!
I would like to share a bit about a large project I have been personally involved with since last year: The Burning Man Temple. I know that many people in my network are burners themselves, or maybe know a bit about the culture, but I think the temple warrants an explanation.
There are two pieces that return to Burning Man each year no matter what: The Man & The Temple. Both are burned down eventually. When the man burns on Saturday night, there is a giant party. When the temple burns the following Sunday night, you can nearly hear a pin drop in the desert. At Burning Man, the temple provides a place for people to heal. They may be mourning a loved one, recovering from a hardship in their life, or even leaving another life behind. Throughout the event, attendees visit the temple to pay their respects to loved ones lost and things left behind. By the end of the event, the entire temple is covered with artifacts of loved ones left by people who have visited it.
Last year I had the honor of building the temple and co-leading the electrical design for the project. Not only was it a huge engineering feat, but it also provided me with an energy outlet after suffering the loss of multiple close family members all in one year. This year I decided to help build the temple again and we are just getting things kicked off. Part of this is fundraising and we have just launched our crowdfunding campaign. The temple crew and the entire Burning Man community would appreciate any support you are willing/able to provide. And for those of you located in the Bay Area, come stop by the build site and see what we are up to!
