Highlights
I’m proud to have represented Novartis at the #KigaliSummit on Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) where we endorsed the #KigaliDeclaration with a five-year financial commitment of $250 million to the fight against NTDs and malaria.
Leading the new External Affairs & Strategic Partnerships team for Novartis Global Health, the Summit was a chance to re-connect with friends, partners and global leaders to reflect on the significant progress we’ve made towards elimination since the 2012 London Declaration. At the same time, continued action, collaboration and political will is needed to achieve the SDG3 target on NTDs and deliver on the World Health Organization’s NTD Roadmap for 2030.
Novartis recognises that our commitment to bring new, innovative tools to the world’s most vulnerable will only be successful insofar as we ensure the broad accessibility of these innovations. We are 100% committed to partner and play our part towards the elimination and eradication of these diseases of poverty.
Let’s do this! #EndMalaria #BeatNTDs
I’m thrilled to join Novartis in their mission to reimagine medicine to improve and extend people’s lives. The COVID-19 pandemic has served as a bitter reminder of the fragility of our healthcare systems. Leading Global Health Public Affairs, I look forward to enabling collaborations that address some of society's unresolved global health challenges. I’m passionate about ensuring the most vulnerable among us have equitable access to safe medicines and healthcare solutions, and privileged to be a part of Novartis’ Global Health & Corporate Responsibility team, who is leading the way for industry to transform health in underserved and lower income populations! #globalhealth #equity #novartis
