Matthew Hartman

Partner at Betaworks Ventures

Hi, I'm Matt Hartman. I make things out of technology (sometimes) and invest in technology (more frequently) as a partner at Betaworks Ventures. At Betaworks,

I'm currently most interested in consumer applications of Web 3 as well as the next generation of NoCode creativity tools, which I believe will look like GPT3, Social Games, and programmable productivity workflow tools. I think they're going to fundamentally change what it means to "make."

Prior to Betaworks, I was at Hot Potato (acquired by Facebook) and built ReferBoost (real estate tech licensed to Apartments.com). I started my career building the technology platform for CBRE. Somewhere in there I worked on digital image protection and was granted Patent #8189781.
