Matthew Koon is an experienced professional who has worked on private sector projects for Fortune 100 clients, covering a wide range of areas such as value chain analysis and industrial site selection. In the public sector, his focus has been on diplomatic missions, investment advisory, and trade activities in developing markets. He has led missions for US Governors and economic development organizations, including the IFC and World Bank, with project management experience in APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions.

Matthew's educational background includes a Masters in Energy from the University of Washington's Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, Chinese studies at Nankai University, management studies at Stanford University, a Master of International Studies from Asia University, a Bachelors in Asian Studies from Whitman College, and a Masters in International Studies from the University of Washington.

Throughout his career, Matthew Koon has held various roles in organizations, including being the Founder and Managing Partner at Elemenopi. Previously, he has worked in Location Strategy at Rowan Digital Infrastructure and Birch Infrastructure, Pbllc, Site Selection and Acquisition at Microsoft, Economic Development Practice Leader at Tractus Asia, Consulting Practice at Tractus Asia, and as Co-Founder at Cig Consulting.
