Matthew O'Reilly is a seasoned charity and philanthropy professional, boasting over 11 years of experience handling grants exceeding £500k annually. He is now seeking leadership roles within the non-profit realm.

Previously, Matthew served as the deputy head of the Indigo Trust, operating under the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. During his tenure, the trust dispersed £13.4m in grants across more than 30 countries from 2010 to 2022.

Matthew played a pivotal role in launching the trust's £350k yearly grant dedicated to enhancing global eye health, thereby contributing significantly to the reduction of preventable blindness cases on a global scale.

Matthew's academic background is illustrious, marked by a Distinction in MSc International Development from Birkbeck, University of London, complemented by an MPhil in East German history and a first-class BA (Hons) degree in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol.

His linguistic prowess is evident with fluency in English, German, and Spanish, coupled with professional translation experience.
