Matthew Warneford is a seasoned UX/User Researcher with a strong background in design. With a wealth of experience in various methods and tools, team building, and upskilling, Matthew's journey began with Anthropology, leading to conducting ethnographic studies for the public and third sector. He has worked with numerous well-known entities such as Disney, BBC, King Games, Amazon, and various government departments in the UK and Portugal. Matthew possesses a diverse mix of quantitative and qualitative skills and is dedicated to his work, preferring hands-on involvement and leading by example rather than detached management. Apart from his professional endeavors, he is passionate about travel, cooking, exploring local markets, playing board games, and simple video games.

Matthew Warneford holds a Professional Doctorate from the University of Bedfordshire, a MA from the University of London, and a BSc from the University of East London. He has held key positions such as Director of UX/User Research at Zoomkind Ltd, Lead User Researcher (senior consultant) at NHS Digital, and various roles at organizations like UK Home Office, HM Revenue & Customs, Department for Work and Pensions, and more. Matthew has a knack for research, digital media, games, and youth engagement, demonstrated through his work as a guest lecturer and as a Digital Media and Youth Engagement Consultant.
