I am thrilled to share insights from the recent Handelsblatt Summit #ZukunftIT 2024 in Munich, where I had the opportunity to engage in an exciting panel discussion on "Cloud-Transformation: Chances, Risks and Strategies" with IT leaders and experts, including Prof. Dr. Walter Brenner, Martin Thormählen, CTO from Munich Re, Sebastian Weber, CIO from E.ON as well as learning about the successes and challenges when transforming IT by Dr. Annette Hamann from Beiersdorf rounded off by an enthusiastic speech by Dr. Fabian Mehring, Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs on how Bavaria, Germany and Europe need to get their act together and show some guts by taking on more risks in order to compete in AI on the world stage.

The conversations underscored the importance of cloud technology and AI governance in navigating today’s digital landscape. Insights from Lutz Seidenfaden, CIO of MTU reinforced the need for a solid governance framework to manage the evolving challenges and opportunities presented by AI and digital transformation.

For a comprehensive look at these discussions and how they relate to ensuring secure, efficient digital transformation, I invite you to read my latest blog post.
