Matthieu Maillard is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in environmental studies.

He has obtained a BTS degree in Management and Conservation of Nature, with honors, from LEGTA de Valabre, followed by a degree in Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development, with honors, from the Université de Caen Basse Normandie. He furthered his education with a degree in Environmental Management, Energy Challenges, and Sustainable Responses, with honors, from Aix-Marseille Université.

Throughout his career, Matthieu Maillard has held various key roles in organizations focusing on environmental initiatives and energy transition. Some of his roles include being a Activity Manager for Supporting Communities and Professionals at the Agence Locale de la Transition Énergétique du Rhône, as well as serving as a University Instructor and Professional Trainer in Building Performance and Renewable Energies at HESPUL.

He has also worked as a Project Manager in Thermal Renewable Energies, an Energy Advisor, and gained experience in thermal engineering specialized in renovating condominiums during his internship at the engineering firm Sénova. Furthermore, he has been involved in coordinating events like Mountain Days and overseeing Territory Management as part of his role at Mountain Riders.

In addition, Matthieu Maillard has contributed to the professional development in the field by serving as a Trainer for obtaining the Youth Leader Certificate at Fédération Léo Lagrange, and as an Animator for adapted vacation stays for mentally disabled adults at Association La pierre et le Sable.
