The NoCode Review | Episode 5 Web dot com

It's a website builder, and it sucks. 1/5 stars. I tried 3 different ways, and I couldn't even successfully create an account. On top of that, their pricing is predatory, trying to get you in at a very low rate, and then raising the price incrementally.

And I'm almost certain their actual website builder is white labeled, I've seen tons like it before. They try to push hard for their web dev service, so it's likely they're just using the site builder as a lead magnet.

Nothing unique, nothing redeeming.

In my list of 600+ tools I'm working through, I'm sure there will be a lot more duds. Let me know if there's any other garbage you want me to investigate.   #nocode #tools #review

The NoCode Review | Episode 4 Adalo

I use Adalo a ton for teaching no-code to students. It's so easy to use and design-flexible upfront, so it's perfect for introducing new people to the world of no-code. It does have bugs, and I encountered a lot when I was trying to build serious products with it, but I can't deny it's still one of the best options for prototyping and designing.

Here are some stats from my review:

  • Super generous free plan - unlimited apps and pages (and you can publish to the web under Adalo domains)
  • Incredibly easy to learn upfront, but the learning curve for advanced features is tough
  • Built for individuals in the testing phase, in my opinion

If you have any questions, or tools you want me to review next, let me know! :)   #nocode #tools #review
