Max Steiner is a professional with a keen interest in the nexus of politics and economics, focusing on how these areas shape decision-making processes in domestic and foreign policy. With a background serving in the US Army as an Infantryman with deployments in Iraq, Max transitioned to a career in International Development. He holds a degree in Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Max's experience includes roles as a Third Secretary in the Economic Section at the U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras; a Vice Consul in the Consular Section at the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana, Mexico; and a Civilian Observer in the Multinational Force and Observers in the Sinai, Egypt. His specialties lie in Economics and Diplomacy. Currently, Max is pursuing a PhD at the RAND Corporation.
