Maya Burhanpurkar is a rising talent in technology and innovation, known for her academic achievements and contributions across various fields.

Maya completed her undergraduate degree in Physics and Computer Science at Harvard University and is set to embark on a two-year journey as a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford, where she will pursue her MPhil in Economics.

With a rich background in machine learning, autonomous technology, and quantum computing, Maya has leveraged her expertise in fundamental research, investment analysis, and venture capital.

She holds the prestigious title of Technology and Innovation Fellow at the Harvard Business School and has been recognized for her innovative endeavors, winning the 2020 Harvard i3 Innovation Challenge and the Lemelson-MIT Student Prize.

Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Maya is a passionate advocate for environmental issues. She travelled to the Arctic to create the award-winning documentary '400PPM,' shedding light on climate change and featuring prominent figures such as Margaret Atwood and Chris Hadfield.

Maya has gained diverse work experience in top organizations, including roles as a Private Equity Associate and Summer Associate at Blackstone, an Investment Analyst at The D. E. Shaw Group, and an Applied Research Scientist at Georgian.

She has also served as an Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates, a Venture Partner at Contrary, and held research positions at institutions like Harvard University and the Perimeter Institute.

Maya's involvement in the tech and innovation space extends to her participation in programs like Studio Y at MaRS Discovery District and Women in STEM at Jane Street, showcasing her commitment to fostering diversity and excellence in these fields.
