Subsequently, he transitioned to the Workout and Restructuring SBU, where he served as a Senior Account Manager and later as a Senior Specialist from September 2006 to April 2009, focusing on providing solutions for businesses undergoing critical restructuring phases.
In May 2009, Mazwi accepted a new challenge, taking on the mantle of Regional Manager for the Eastern Cape, a role he sustained until November 2011. It was during this time that he further solidified his leadership and managerial skills, effectively overseeing operations in this important region. Beginning in December 2011, Mazwi took on the pivotal role of SBU Head for Metals, Transport, and Machinery Products at IDC, a position where he continues to drive innovations and strategic developments in the business.
Beyond his practical roles, Mazwi is also an active member of the Institute of Directors and serves as a non-executive director for Blue Mountain Berries.
