Highlights
Last week at VolunteerNow (USA), we hosted our annual Hearts of Texas Luncheon and I am still in awe of what our team accomplished and the incredible honorees we had the privilege of celebrating! 😍
A lot has changed at VolunteerNow in the last 12 months- we hired a new CEO, survived a reorganization, started a new strategic plan (testing out a new mission and values), and had many staff changes. 🎢
I started managing a new and larger team, I stretched my leadership capabilities, and dove deeper into marketing and communications (which I love!).
Navigating these changes has been challenging to say the least. When I take a moment like this to reflect on my journey, I can see that these changes have led to so much personal growth that no other climb could have revealed. A phrase I have continued to repeat is “Out of our greatest struggles will come our greatest strengths.” 💪
I’m so grateful for our leadership team and a staff that continue to pour into me and inspire me. This team truly does more good, together. I’m excited for the good things ahead! 👏
