Melanie Brussat is a highly educated professional with a strong background in Art History and Objects Conservation.

She obtained her M.A. in Art History / Objects Conservation from New York University and her B.A. in Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Throughout her career, Melanie has held various positions in prestigious organizations, showcasing her expertise in conservation.

She has worked as an Objects Conservator at her own practice and as a Special Projects Conservator at Art Conservation Group and Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum.

Melanie has also served as an Assistant Conservator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and as an IMLS Fellow at Shelburne Museum in Vermont.

Her experience extends internationally, having been a Conservation Intern at Institut Royal du Patrimoine Artistique in Brussels, Belgium.

Melanie's diverse professional history highlights her commitment to preserving and protecting cultural heritage through meticulous conservation practices.
