Melinda Buntin is a distinguished professional with a strong background in health policy, economics, and analysis.

She holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and an A.B. in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University.

Currently, Melinda serves as the Mike Curb Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt University. With extensive experience in academia and government, she has held key positions such as Chair of the Department of Health Policy at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

Melinda Buntin has also contributed significantly in the public sector as the Deputy Assistant Director of Health at the Congressional Budget Office. Her expertise extends to economic analysis and modeling, having been the Director of the Office of Economic Analysis, Evaluation, and Modeling at ONC/HHS.

Prior to her current roles, Melinda worked as a Health Economist at RAND and gained valuable experience as a Research Analyst at The Lewin Group.
