Melissa Nieto-Florez, known as Melissa Floreria Time in the artistic world, is a lifelong Contemplative Artist and Dancer with a diverse background in various forms of psychology, theater, and performance art.

Her journey began with mindful training at the Bihar School of Yoga in India in 1999 and furthered her studies in meditation, contemplative psychology, eco-psychology, and somatic psychology under renowned instructors such as Pad Odgen, Frank Berliner, and Joana Macy.

She graduated from Naropa University in 2005 with a B.A. in Contemplative Psychology and continued to expand her artistic horizons with certifications in improvisational theater from Universidad del Bosque and training in performance art from global experts.

Melissa's interests lie in exploring human emotion, the human body and brain's intricate design, beauty, poetry, and the intersection of mental and environmental health issues.

Aside from her educational pursuits, Melissa has been associated with various organizations, such as International Bilingual Workshop: Relax and Dance, supermujeres.tv, Teatro Macarena, and Teatro Varasanta, where she has served roles ranging from Content Developer to Executive Manager and Curator.

Her rich background also includes engagements in fields like arts administration, youth education, and women's rights activism, showcasing her versatility and commitment to holistic personal and societal well-being.

Melissa's experiences span from coaching at the Mandala Center for Change to working with community programs and educational institutions, reflecting her passion for the arts, education, and social change.
