Melissa Pelochino is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in education and innovation. Currently serving as the Director of Professional Development at Seesaw, she embarks on a mission to enhance learning experiences for both students and educators worldwide. Melissa's career journey has seen her contributing her creative expertise to numerous renowned organizations, including Nearpod, Stanford d.school, Aspire Public Schools, Ravenswood City School District, and several startups in Silicon Valley. She firmly believes in the power of making incremental changes to effect meaningful system transformations.

Her academic pursuits have equipped her with valuable skills and knowledge. Melissa pursued studies in Reading Specialist and Reading Recovery at Saint Mary's College of California, honing her expertise in literacy education. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law & Society from UC Santa Barbara, providing her with a strong foundation in legal and societal matters.

Throughout her career, Melissa has held various key roles that have shaped her into the accomplished professional she is today. She has served as a Key Facilitator at Lime Design Associates, a Dean of Academics at Aspire Public Schools, a Guest Lecturer at Stanford University, and a Co-founder at I teach. These positions have allowed her to make significant contributions to the field of education and innovation, further solidifying her reputation as a leader and changemaker in the industry.
