His journey began in 1995 as an intern at KPN Multimedia, where he delved into in-game advertising, eventually leading to the establishment of start-up SponsorWare.

Menno's career saw him developing the digital offerings of Rabobank through TrefPunt.nl and working on projects for prominent companies like Sony-Ericsson and Ford at Y&R's Netfactory.

He excelled in roles such as leading the MarCom team at Schiphol Airport and spearheading UM Strategy, acquiring clients like BMW, ABN AMRO, and Vattenfall while focusing on marketing sciences and tech development at Mediabrands.

Menno's expertise as the Chief Data & Tech Officer at Mediabrands centered on enhancing data management, streamlining business operations, and driving growth through innovative tech solutions.

Known for his contributions in innovation, product development, behavioral science, and efficiency, Menno initiated hackathons within the IPG network and championed sustainability in advertising and retail sectors.

An educator and speaker, Menno engages with the academic sphere as a guest lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and presents at esteemed events like Cannes Lions and ICOM, while also serving as a jury member for industry accolades like the AMMA.

In his personal pursuits, Menno has showcased his entrepreneurial spirit by constructing two homes in Amsterdam IJburg, besides balancing his interests as a KNVB referee and a drummer.
