As the Managing Partner of Exponential Venture Partners (XVP), Mergen is dedicated to nurturing the startup ecosystem in Mongolia, aiming to see at least one Mongolian company achieve a billion USD valuation by 2030.

Mergen's professional journey includes leading efforts to enhance the business environment in Mongolia through roles such as the leader of The Business Council of Mongolia, member of the Prime Minister's Economic Policy Council, and heading major automotive businesses like Ford & Land Rover in Mongolia.

Mergen is known for his efforts in bridging global expertise with Mongolia, evident in organizing prominent events like CEO summits, translating influential business books, and initiating innovative projects like Mongolia's 1st internet marketing agency and Blockchain meetups.

With a versatile background, Mergen has also excelled in financial analysis, executive leadership in various industries, and is a member of esteemed organizations like the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) in multiple capacities.

Mergen's academic accomplishments include completing the Presidents Program at Harvard Business School and earning a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Computer Information Systems, Finance, & Entrepreneurship from Colorado State University.

Apart from his professional achievements, Mergen has personal milestones like dunking a basketball at height 177cm, undertaking a 23km run around Ugii Nuur in 2012, and achieving a remarkable score in the GMAT.

He continues to mentor aspiring leaders and is mentored by influential global leaders, embodying a commitment to personal growth and development.
