In a political environment where collaboration and progress often seem out of reach, the Move Forward MKE coalition made the impossible possible.

I am proud to join the Wisconsin Policy Forum in congratulating my friends at Milwaukee County, the City of Milwaukee, the Greater Milwaukee Committee and MMAC, who have been awarded the David G. Meissner Award for Public-Private Cooperation.

Thanks for working so hard to invest in our home. ❤️

I don't know about all of you, but 2020 has been a year full of learning, recognizing, listening and growing for me!

During the days and weeks when things feel helpless or out of my control, I've been inspired to find tangible ways to do more to create equity and make a meaningful change right here. That's why I've been so honored to serve on the host committee for Safe & Sound, Inc.'s annual fundraiser, A Night to Unite: Building Neighborhood Bridges.

Safe & Sound is a grassroots, nonprofit organization here in Milwaukee that focuses on building safer neighborhoods by empowering residents, connecting people to resources, and working with partners (because none of us can make change on our own!) to create measurable, meaningful, tangible improvements. Tonight will mark a virtual celebration and a final fundraising push to support these efforts. Join me at 6:00 for the party!

Most importantly, if you feel so inclined, please consider donating to Safe & Sound here: safesoundmke.givesmart.com
