Michael Bartner

Commercial Solar Consultant driven to accelerate the transition towards renewable energy.

Michael Bartner is dedicated to ReVision Energy's mission of reducing fossil fuel consumption in New England by assisting business owners and community leaders in transitioning to solar energy.

He played a significant role in establishing and managing the Slow Money Institute, contributing to the allocation of over $73 million to support more than 750 organic farms and small food enterprises.

Prior to his involvement with Slow Money, Michael engaged with an angel investment network focusing on sustainability-driven ventures and gained experience at various organizations during his academic years.

He completed his education with a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Science from Emory University, pursued the General Course at The London School of Economics, and earned an M.B.A. from Northeastern University.

Originally from Mount Desert Island and raised in Kennebunk, Michael spent a decade in Boston before settling in York Harbor with his wife and three daughters, where he powers his home with clean energy from a solar electric system.

His professional background includes roles as a Commercial Solar Consultant at ReVision Energy, Vice President at Slow Money Institute, and Associate Director at Investors' Circle, among other positions.

With a diverse educational background and extensive experience in sustainable investments and solar energy consultancy, Michael Bartner continues to drive positive change in environmental and financial sectors.
