Highlights
I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Consulting Producer, External Content at StatusPRO!
There's an old saying that things/people come into your life for 1) a reason, 2) a season, or 3) a lifetime.
Even with the news last week that my time at Activision Blizzard has come to an end, the Call of Duty League turned out to be all three for me.
The "reason" is pretty straightforward -- I can 100 percent say that I learned more in the last four years than I have in a long time, probably ever. Mostly, I just tried to be a good person, and surround myself with the same.
Additionally, I was fortunate enough to experience not just one "season," but four amazing years that each had some wild twists and turns.
As for the "lifetime" part -- I will be forever proud of the work we did, and more importantly, the people who helped make it happen. Truly, the most hilarious and humble group of characters and co-workers you could ever ask for. I am beyond grateful to and for all of you, and I would probably break this website if I tried to name every single one of you in this post.
As for what's next- I'm gonna enjoy the rest of the summer with my family, reconnect with friends, and definitely watch as many Reds games as possible. Ideally, I'd love to stay at the intersection of sports, tech, and storytelling/production -- please reach out if you have any full-time, freelance, or consulting opportunities. Many of you already have, and I’m very appreciative.
And last but certainly not least, there are also dozens of my former colleagues that are now free agents who will be immensely valuable wherever they land. Happy to connect anyone here with any of them, just let me know.
Thank you again, and GG's to everyone.
