Michael Budnow is a finance professional with over 15 years of experience in leading organizations such as Goldman Sachs and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He is a co-founder of the startup accounting firm, Standard Ledger, where he serves as a virtual CFO offering financial insight, management tools, and capital raising support to startups in various industries including bio, medtech, fintech, manufacturing, and virtual gaming.

In addition to his finance expertise, Michael is a qualified tax adviser with credentials as a chartered tax adviser, registered tax agent, and a member of the Tax Institute. He focuses on making startups tax-efficient and provides strategic tax advice.

Apart from his professional roles, Michael also engages in teaching finance and entrepreneurial topics at General Assembly and Sydney Start Up Hub, staying updated on the latest financial strategies and tax laws to benefit startups.

Michael Budnow holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from Monash University, a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from UNSW Australia, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Monash University.
