Highlights
As many of you will know, Maersk is sailing through some tough waters and recently announced a 10% cut of the HQ based employees. Unfortunately, the reseizing of the organisation has led to my role being cancelled. Although my time with Maersk unfortunately will be much shorter than I had wished for and it is time for me to say goodbye and thank you for 2 wonderful years, I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to work in such an interesting industry and for such a great company. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people, who has inspired me in so many ways and I have been given the opportunity to develop personally and professionally during not always easy circumstances, but what an adventure it has been.
It has been an absolute pleasure to work with changing the culture on-board our vessels, attracting more female seafarers (we have now more than 500), and providing better and more connected support to the heart of Maersk, the proud seafarers. A big thank you to my 3 teams and direct reports. I couldn´t have done it without you. You are amazing and so talented, and I will miss you all.
The number 1 wish on my Christmas list is a new job. Changes happen and with one door closing, I hope a new door will open very soon, so dear network, please hook me up for coffee.

A new exiting career chapter has started in February as A.P. Møller Mærsk has welcomed me on-board as Director, Head of Marine People Europe and I have joined the journey, taking Marine HR into the future. Together with my fantastic team and fabulous colleagues we are on a mission creating meaningful change for the seafarers in our care.
