Michael Dunford

Regional Director for Eastern Africa, UN World Food Programme (WFP)

Michael Dunford is an experienced humanitarian leader who served as the Regional Director for Eastern Africa at the UN World Food Programme (WFP) from June 2020 to November 2024.3 In this role, he oversaw WFP operations in ten countries, providing strategic guidance and support with an annual budget of over $6 billion, aiming to reach 49 million people.2
