Michael Grace, Jr. is a prominent figure known for being the founder of Pop Prophets and recognized as NY's New Wave Cult Hero by the Village Voice. With The Secret History, he has contributed to the genre of glum rock. In addition to being a musician, Michael is a poet, professor, and has Sicilian roots. He identifies himself as part of the Post-Jesuit Hard Left movement.

Michael pursued his education with a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Stony Brook University and furthered his studies by earning an MFA in Studio Art from LIU Post.

Throughout his career, Michael has been associated with various organizations. He was a Co-founder and Creative Director at La Kalsa Projects and a Creative Director as well as a Songwriter for The Secret History. Additionally, he has shared his knowledge and expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Art at Nassau Community College.
