With a passion for impactful change, Michael Hankin delivered a TEDx talk in 2017 titled 'Speak Up. Where It Counts. Loudly.' He encourages others to advocate for positive transformations and actively engage in catalyzing change.

In 2021, Michael Hankin took on the Co-Chair position at UpSurge, a project aimed at propelling Baltimore towards becoming a premier innovative city by fostering and supporting high-impact startups through an 'Equitech' approach.

Michael Hankin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Emory University, where he excelled as a Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate. He furthered his education by obtaining a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1982.
