Highlights
What is the evidence that AI can instruct as great as a human instructor??
Well, here it is: https://lnkd.in/g6dyEe4j
We just graduated hundreds of students who have learned AI with AI. The report above is a detailed study that covers the context, the results, and what we can improve.
With hundreds of data points and standard test results, we saw major improvements of students' learning, and we could not distinguish who is taught by a human vs Nova.
To my knowledge, this is the first comprehensive study of using AI to teach.
Thank you Richard Hsu, Gokul Prasad, Jack Smalling for teaching AI Foundations. Thank you Elian Ahmar, Jackson C., Alexander Zhou, Gokul Prasad, Jack Smalling, and many others for making the solution. Thank you for our instructors like Samuel Hilbert for teaching. Thank you Bborie Park for coaching. Could not have done this without you guys.
Had some fun doing some data viz - my swimming progress over time. The circle size is the distance per swim. The biggest one is like 1800 yards.
Total I swam about 25 miles in 5 months. Speed increased about 42% while endurance increased a lot more.
The last three dots I saw visible increase of my abilities - all because I had a friend who coached me a session.
I highly recommend any of my startup friends doing some endurance training. It helps.
