Michael Lee Poy is a multi-talented individual with a background in architecture, installation art, costume design, furniture making, and education.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Environmental Design from Yale School of Architecture.

Combining his creative skills, Michael established himself as an installation artist in New York and designed costumes for Trinidad's Carnival.

His early career involved sub-contracting for high-end interior renovations, furniture design, and architecture in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Originally from Montreal, Canada, he is now a registered architect in Trinidad and Tobago and has been actively involved with the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects.

Michael's professional journey includes roles as a junior architect at acla, establishing interiors for MacFarlane's Design Studio, and working on masquerade designs for Carnival.

Currently, he serves as a part-time lecturer at the UWI Department of Creative and Festival Arts, focusing on Creative Design Entrepreneurship in the graduate studies program.

In 2007, Michael founded Atelier Lee Poy Ltd., which later evolved into Lee Poy Design, serving as a hub for his diverse range of expertise and experiences.
