Michael Meehan is a highly qualified professional with a diverse background in environmental management, land use, agriculture, and public policy.

He holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management with a focus on Land Use & Public Policy from Yale University, and a Bachelor's degree from Vassar College's American Studies Program.

With a rich history of working for various prestigious organizations, Michael has held prominent roles such as Principal Planner and Agricultural Plan Program Manager/Senior Planner at County of Santa Clara.

He has also served as a Project Manager at Stanford University and as the Director of State & Regional Policy and Founder of Acre Policy.

Michael's experience extends to the realms of environmental protection, food systems, community development, and entrepreneurship, having worked with institutions like Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy, Natural Resources Defense Council, Glynwood / Open Space Institute, Yale Law School, Working Lands Alliance / American Farmland Trust, Yale Center for Business and the Environment, and Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.

He has also contributed significantly to farm operations and management, having worked at Good Eggs, Feedback Farms, and serving as a Farm Manager & Instructor at the Farmer Training Program at the University of Vermont.
