I'm excited to announce that I'm opening up another role on my team. I am looking for an Strategic Finance lead who will lead our consolidated strategic and financial planning efforts and own our company model. This hire will work directly with me and will also have broad exposure to all of Glean's most critical business challenges beyond FP&A.
Glean is on a trajectory to be one of the category defining companies in Enterprise AI and is backed by top VCs like Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed, Sequoia Capital, General Catalyst, IVP, ICONIQ Capital, and Coatue. More importantly, the team is comprised of some of the most kind, talented, hardworking and low-ego people I've ever had the pleasure of working with in my career.
I was a VC for 8 years before I joined Glean, so I know how rare it is when this level of customer love, market opportunity, talent density, and momentum come together. We are fundamentally changing how people work and when your company's name crosses the chasm into becoming a verb, you know you are onto something special.
If this sounds exciting to you, we'd love to have you apply.
Hi All - I’m excited to share a post about something I’m very passionate about - Strategic Finance. You can check it out here:

The role of the modern Finance team has changed dramatically in the last decade. The Finance team has historically been seen as the “beancounters” of the organization, but that stereotype is changing quickly. Finance has become increasingly strategic and now has a seat at the table, largely thanks to the rise of the Strategic Finance function.
I was fortunate to chat with Strategic Finance leaders from Figma, Grammarly, Segment, and Whoop, who shared insights and learning on how they structured their teams and made an impact at their respective companies. Huge thanks to Parsa Saljoughian, Nicole Wittlin, Kristen Y., and Alex Berkenkamp for taking the time to chat.
Whether you’re curious about what Strategic Finance is, thinking of building a team at your company, or already work in Strategic Finance, this post is for you. Would love to know what you think!
