Major milestone in the ramp-up of our InnoLab Battery reached!
This week Wednesday we celebrated the roofing of our InnoLab Battery building in Mannheim (“Richtfest”). In the next weeks we will be starting to implement the first machinery pieces.
Our target is to manufacture first prototype Truck batteries still this year. We want to build up knowledge about the production processes of battery cells and packs as well as support our prototype Trucks with prototype batteries – with ca. 100 colleagues on more than 10,000 sqm.
We are proud and very happy that we move forward that fast – great spirit and teamwork!
Special thanks to my colleague John Alhäuser and his Technical Service department in our plant in Mannheim, especially the team of Dominik Boenig And of course also to Johanna Riemer, Kosmas Kiprizlis, Dr. Robert Braun, Thomas Enzmann, Jonas Kiefer, Tobias Wenzel and their teams!
