They say a picture's worth a thousand words.

But I remember when a picture also cost a $1,000.    Or more.   A lot has been said about AI and how it will kill creativity jobs.    I think it will alter them, but not kill them.    Why?    Recently I had a presentation to do -- on AI in content marketing.     I went to Midjourney to create some images for my presentation    Create an AI monster.   It did so quickly.  For pennies.    So, who lost out?    Not one artist lost that work.     I never would have spent money to have images made just for that presentation.    So there was no job to lose.    None.   This was incremental creative work -- not replacement work.    I was able to improve my communications   My audience benefited   And no job or career or budget was killed in the process.   Will communications change?

Absolutely.     We all will have more tools to tell more compelling stories.    This will take creativity, effort and budget.   We will have plenty to do.    Fear not.   Simply get ready.

Level up.

And tame the AI monster.

I am not worried about AI achieving general intelligence any time soon.    But a little AI self awareness would be nice.  \    Last week, Anthropic, a competitor to ChatGPT launched Claude 2.0.    They sent me an email promoting it.

I watched TikTok influencers claim they had used it and loved it.    I wanted to try it.    So, I logged into Claude to see if I could access it.

Claude didn't seem to know Claude 2 or itself. Watch to see my funny conversation.   I think the AI has some "room for improvement".
